What To Expect

So you're thinking of hiring us to build your website - but you don't know us and are unsure of what to expect.

• Do we know what we're doing? 
• Do we think we are better than everyone else? 
• Do we only talk in "tech-speak"? 
• Will we follow-through on our promises? 
• Are we easy to work with?  

This list can go on for a long time...

Here is the simple answer: we treat our clients/customers/business partners as we want and expect to be treated - fairly, friendly and professionally.  

When you hire us for a project you should be prepared for a few things:

• A Lot of Email
  Communication is king!  We like communication and will ask a lot of questions.  We do this over email to insure we understand your needs and to have a reference source to review if necessary.
• Persistence
  We don't lolly-gag, dilly-dally or do anything other than jump in and start working on your project. We may need specific information from you to continue our work and will be persistent in requesting it.  
• Attention to Details
  We are sticklers for the details. Even the slightest deviation from the plan can have negative effects on your website. 
• Follow-Through
  We take our job seriously and when given the opportunity to work on your project we make sure that all the "i's" are dotted and "t's" are crossed.  We will ask you to proof-read your website and test all of it's functions prior to making it live.  
• Access to Your Hosting Account
  We can't work on your site without having access to your hosting account so we'll need that before we can start.
• Questions and Answers
  As each project is unique we cannot foresee all questions that may arise during the process. As soon as a question arises we will email you. You may have questions once a project is under way - we will do our best to respond to you within a few hours.
• Tech-Speak / Techno-Babble
  We do our best not to talk in purely technical terms - we don't like it when our doctors talk to us using terms we don't understand and we are conscious of this. Unfortunately website design is a very technical process, and from time-to-time we have no choice but to use technical terms to explain why something works a certain way. We do our best to limit technical terms and will always try to be clear and concise using "normal people" terms.
• Firm Delivery Date
  We take this date seriously and base nearly all our design and deliverables around when you have requested your website be up and running.
